1953
Ahmet Hidayetoğlu, the first generation, has started the manufacturing of piston rings and liners locally.
1965
First production of piston rings for marine engines and water pumps had been done.
1975
The mass production of piston rings and liners has started.
1987
The factory has been built and Samsun Segman Sanayi Ltd. Co. has been founded.
1989
The global distribution of our products has started.
1992
The first showroom of Samsun Segman Sanayi piston rings has been opened in Istanbul.
1994
SSS piston rings quality is assured by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSEK)
2000
Production became fully automated with various types of CNC machines.
2002
SSS logo has been replaced with POWERSEAL brand and introduced to all global markets

ISO 9001-2000 Quality Standards Certificate is given to our company.
